Komunikasi Antarpribadi “Blind Date” pada Pengguna Aplikasi Tinder dalam Membangun Hubungan Romantis

Abstract

With today's technological advances, all daily activities can be supported by technology that continues to develop so that personal problems such as matchmaking can be resolved by technology with the emergence of matchmaking applications. As in general, a date is usually done by young people who want to build a romantic relationship, but in this case the date is a blind date between users of online blind dating applications. The theory used in this research is the Social Penetration Theory and Expectation Breach Theory. This study aims to determine how romantic relationships can be built with blind dates conducted by Tinder application users. The research method used in this research is descriptive and explorative qualitative research and uses the constructivism paradigm. Researchers collected primary data obtained from observations, interviews and data analysis. The result of this study is that it is known that blind dates conducted by users of online dating applications are a reference for these individuals to build romantic relationships or not, and in building this romantic relationship there are obstacles that must be overcome by couples to continue to achieve their built goals. such romantic relationship.
