The study aims to find out about the reception of teenagers on sex education in series sex education season 2, using Stuart Hall's Encoding-Decoding theory. The paradigm in this study is constructivist with a qualitative approach. The method of analysis used is audience reception analysis, with three positions namely Dominant Hegemony, Negotiation, Opposition. Based on the results of the study, the dominant hegemonic position sits on the scene, sex education and sex issues in the series. The opposition position is on the scene of parental and child openness about its sexuality, sex education can prevent sex disorders. Furthermore, negotiating positions are on the sex education scene more often obtained over the internet. This shows that the inclusion of Jakarta's youth for sex education messages produces varied answers. Jakarta's youth act as an active audience and use their experience and level of knowledge in conducting the conversion.en_US
