dc.description.abstractBullying can endanger one's mental state. It is not easy for victims to recover their mental health. The cause of this action arise one of them from impressions in media. The one of Web TV series that vulgarly exposes bullying is 13 Reasons Why. This research aims to determine adolescent receptions about bullying contained in the drama series 13 Reasons Why, using the Encoding-Decoding Stuart Hall theory. Paradigm in this research was the constructivist with a qualitative approach. In analyzing data, researchers used audience reception analysis with three categories; Dominant, Negotiation, and Opposition. The results showed that the first informant who was in opposition. Furthermore, the negotiation was found in the third informant who places himself in a neutral position. Next, the dominant was found in the second informant who accustomed and can tolerate the bullying.en_US
