Analisis Framing Berita 7 Kontainer Surat Suara di Kompas.Com

Abstract

Kompas.com on 2nd January of 2019 posted some news about 7 containers filled with voted ballot papers hoax. Even written kompas.com is objective and not bias, but the way they tell the news is not the same with other online news forum. This research has a purpose to find out how kompas.com framing the seven container of voted ballot papers hoax case. This research approach is qualitative, with framing method of analysis. This research use social reality construction theory. The data or research material will be analyse with Robert N. Entman framing technique with four elements which is define problem, diagnose causes, make moral judgement, and treatment recommendation. The result of this research is first kompas.com take this hoax case seriously for the people, kompas.com even posted about it 60 times. Second kompas.com concluded that this case can be viral because the spreading from social media. Third kompas.com see this hoax case as an expression of hatred to one of the politic side. Fourth indirectly kompas.com showed us they support one of the politic side party based on how they report about them and how they convey the message.
