Analisis Resepsi Anggota Komunitas Generasi Literat Mengenai Anak sebagai Pelaku Kekerasan dalam Film Gundala

Abstract

Children often have their own roles in films. But these days children can also have a role as perpetrators of violence in films. This study aims to determine the reception of the Generasi Literat community members about children as perpetrators of violence in the film Gundala. This study uses the encoding-decoding theory by Stuart Hall. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. The research method used is reception analysis. The results showed differences in the position of each informant regarding children as perpetrators of violence in the film Gundala. The first informant is in a negotiating position. The second and third informants are in the same position, namely hegemony-dominant.
