Pengaruh Terpaan Konten Gim PUBG di Youtube terhadap Interaksi Sosial Remaja

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an effect of PUBG game content on YouTube to teen social interactions. This study uses the Slovin formula of 5% precision, with 150 samples that are considered to represent the population. This research was conducted at UNJ with the 2016 Class of Sport Sciences students as respondents. Media Depedency Theory is a theory used in this study, where someone who increasingly depends on his needs to be met by the use of media, the more important the role of media in people's lives. In this study using the positivism paradigm with a quantitative approach. Primary data in this study were obtained through surveys using a questionnaire as a research instrument. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the results of testing the hypothesis obtained tcount (15.576)> ttable (1.980) and the value of Pvalue (significant) 0.000 <0.05 then Ha is accepted, and from the results of the linear regression calculations the value of b = 0.456 (45.6%) then the variable X has an effect and significant effect on the variable Y.
