Pengaruh Konten Line Webtoon Make-Up Man terhadap Kepercayaan Diri Pembaca (Studi Survey pada Grup Chat Webtoon Indonesia)

Abstract

The presence of new media made a most of the human activities switch from offline to online. The purpose of this study was to find the effect of make-up man content on the reader's confidence. This research used quantitative approach with survey method which distributed questionnaire to 148 respondents. The sampling technique used non probability sampling with purpose sampling technique. Data were analised using validity test, reliability test, normality test, correlation test, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression test, and hypothesis testing. The correlation test results showed there was an effect of make-up man content on the reader's confidence by 78%, the remaining 22% was influenced by other factors. Relationships are in the range of 0.80 – 0.1000 which shows strong categories. The results of the hypothesis analised obtained from the t test show that Ha are accepted and Ho is rejected, so the results of this study is there are effects of make-up man content on the reader's confidence.
