Komunikasi Terapeutik Antara Psikolog dengan Penderita Gangguan Kepribadian

Abstract

Anxiety patients need psychologist therapy to reduce anxiety that the have. The psychologists use therapy in the form of art therapy and drugs. The purpose of this study was to find the psychologist therapeutic communication with anxiety patients. This study used Descriptive-Qualitative approach with a PostPositivistic and study method. Research data were collected through in-deep interviews and non-participant observation. The theory used in this research is the theory of social penetration or onion analogy. The results of the study show that during the counseling process Psychologists try to give a new perspective to patients where eliminate their negative thoughts simply do not occur in real life. With therapeutic communication of Psychologists strive to release the anxiety patient's depend on independent living. This is done in order to maintain the patient's mental health.
