Resepsi Mahasiswa PPKN UNJ Mengenai Nasionalisme dalam Diaspora pada Tayangan Youtube Pandji Pragiwaksono

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of PPKN UNJ students about the message of nationalism in the diaspora on the Pandji Pragiwaksono YouTube. Using a qualitative approach, constructivist paradigm, and descriptive research type. The researcher uses audience reception analysis with Stuart Hall's encoding-decoding theory which divides audiences into three position: dominant - hegemony, negotiation and opposition. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews. The results in this study, The results in this study, the dominant hegemony position is dominated by the informant's interpretation of Pandji Pragiwaksono's YouTube show entitled "nationalist diaspora ga?". The negotiation position is dominated by the informant's interpretation of Pandji's overall answer in the show. The opposition position is dominated by the public's interpretation of Pandji's statement which says "people can be called nationalism if they are intentioned".
