Analisis Keunggulan Bersaing Kidang Mas di Lasem dengan Pendekatan Triple Helix

Abstract

Batik Lasem has unique resources, specifically the red color on it, which cannot be found anywhere else. The red color on Lasem batik tells a history of acculturation of Javanese and Chinese ethnic cultures. There are also many batik business whose owners are the Chinese descent, but now there are only a few including Kidang Mas. This study’s purpose is to knowing the things that create a competitive advantage of Kidang Mas in the middle of the Lasem batik industry, using the Triple Helix approach. Which is knowing what roles are taken by businesses, governments, and academics. The method used is a qualitative method with triangulation data collection technique. The results show that competitive advantage is created over valuable, rare, inimitable, well-organized resources. Triple Helix contributes in introducing the batik industry through seminars and trainings, national exhibitions, government policies, academics researches, and business incubator facilities.
