Formulasi Strategi dalam Menghadapi Persaingan dengan Menggunakan Analisis Lingkungan Industri Pendidikan Studi Kasus: Lembaga Pendidikan XYZ di Area Kota Bekasi

Abstract

The number of school-age population in Indonesia, especially in Bekasi City (West Java Province) is very large, reaching around 24 percent of the total population in the city. This condition opens up opportunities for the education industry to develop educational services that are able to attract students in Bekasi City, West Java. High School and Vocational Schools XYZ Institutions are currently not in demand by junior high school students around. This study aims to recommend the development of strategies implemented in high schools and vocational schools under the auspices of the XYZ Educational Institution so that it is able to attract the interest of junior high school students around and can increase the number of students. Researchers use Research and Development (R&D) with a qualitative approach to collect and explore data through in-depth interviews, questionnaires and literary studies. Analysis using EFE matrix, IFE matrix, IE matrix. The recommendation strategy uses the SMART concept. The results of the analysis are market penetration, product development, and improvement of internal weaknesses by taking advantage of opportunities so as to increase the interest of junior high school students in sma and SMK Lembaga XYZ in the Bekasi City area.
