| Abstract: | The ex- partner figure was someone who has a meaningful impression from each couple. In the same case in Toko Barang Mantan the movie. The aim of this research is to describe the figure of an ex- partner in Toko Barang Mantan the movie. This research is using the theory of construction reality in mass media. Meanwhile, for the method, this research is using Charles Sanders Peirce semiotic analysis method with trichotomy of Sign, Object, Interpretant. This research found the result about ex- partner was someone who has positive and negative sides, the description of positiveside of ex- partner as a learning and also motivation in someone life in otherside negative effect fromex partner is an individual who does not respect each other, betrayed, and also selfish nature |
