Analisis Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Motivasi dan Komitmen Karyawan Serta Pengaruhnya Terhadap Turnover Intention pada Generasi Milenial yang Bekerja di Jakarta

Abstract

Effective leadership style and employees’ job satisfaction are fundamental factors in driving a company to success. The fact that the millennial dominates the age of the workforce can be a challenge and an opportunity for the industry in general because it is the key to the future of the economy. This study aims to see the correlation of the impact of leadership style and job satisfaction on the motivation and commitment of employees in the millennial generation and their effect on turnover intention. A mixed research method was deployed through a survey to 403 millennial respondents and FGD of 10 participants in Jakarta. The results show that transformational leadership style and job satisfaction are proven to boost millennial employees' motivation and commitment at work. Leadership style and job satisfaction shows a significant relationship with commitment and turnover intention, while motivation and commitment mediate it
